Name : Winter Pearl

Personality : He is generous, kind, and serious most of the time. Unfortunately, he has inherited his father's quitting habit and his mother's dramatic nature. If he fails (or, frankly, makes a tiny little mistake), he will dwell on it for hours and swear he'll never skate again.
He was chubby for most of his young life, and was teased for it in school. However, despite his outward appearance, he was extremely good at ice skating and able to do complex maneuvers at a young age. He was good at skating BEFORE he lost weight. As he was about to graduate from high school, Pearl got very sick and lost weight. He hated it at first, but he got used to it. Unfortunately, ponies kept complimenting him on his weight loss, which seriously bothered him. Because of this, he tried to eat extra food in order to regain the weight, which just made him sluggish and unable to do his stunts. To this day, he hates when people comment on one another's weight.
He didn't earn his cutie mark by doing an amazing stunt at school. Instead, he overheard that his mother wanted to find a pearl with his namesake - a Winter Pearl (made up gem name!) to complete her new line. He enlisted Pinkie Pie to take him to find the pearl because his mom refused to make the dangerous journey, and they ended up close to YakYakistan. After some blunders where Winter Pear had to learn to be giving, he earned the trust of the Yak that knew where the pearl was. He skated right across the ice, got the pearl, and earned his cutie mark for his willingness to do for others and his ice skating skill. His mother, who had already ordered some other gems, allowed him to keep the pearl and made it into a necklace for him - he wears it often.
